  • Covers troubleshooting basic chlorine taste and odor problems, residual kmk retention and basic chlorine
    chemistry as it relates to the development of TTHMs in the distribution system and storage

Topic - Sampling Techniques
This course will cover both class A & B sampling procedures.  The emphasis will be on appropriate procedures as well as record keeping and reporting.  It will also cover the following objectives:
  • Personal hygiene and proper hand sanitation
  • Proper sampling technique and sampling plans
  • DEH Bacteriological Sample-Site Plan System Map
  • Outline on what is Revised Total Coliform Rule
  • Understanding CCR's
